More information and support can be found on the Derbyshire Local Offer website.
The school has a Special Educational Needs & Disabilities policy, which follows the procedures set out in the SEND Code of Practice. In consultation with parents any initial concerns about a child's progress are recorded and a set of monitoring procedures are followed. We work closely with the school's educational psychologist to offer advice to staff and parents, recommend learning materials and teaching methods or suggest specialist help or extra support. If parents are concerned about any aspect of their child's development they can request a meeting through the Headteacher.
